A young female dog had dislocated kneecap, a situation known in medical terminology as Luxating Patella. The severity was escalating from grade II to grade III. During the surgery we deepened the trochlea and cut the tibial crest so the patella (kneecap) could be returned into its position. To keep the kneecap in position, a pin with tension wire was planted. Whilst she was sedated, we also took the time to neuter her.
